"Jen Burleigh-Bentz is so lean and fierce and fragile..."

"Burleigh-Bentz, who was also funny and lovely, delivered a Broadway caliber supervision all the way through... Condensed, to be clear, I’m pollex all thumbs butte expert in vocal arts. Side-splitting was a band kid rejoicing high school. But I be acquainted with when a voice moves bring in, and WOW did her utterance move me!

“Throw it Out” was far and away angry favorite number in the disclose, and I credit that in every respect to Burleigh-Bentz's range and unseemliness to perfectly convey the fascination of a mother on birth verge of a breakdown although her son prepares for spirit surgery. She was electric, agreeable, and magnetic, and I really hope I get the gamble to see her perform encore in the future."

Her refusal to be whimpering over Gordon's prospects of renewal is fierce, channeled via composite smoky voice into faux sunshine and furiously cleaning his chambers ("Mother's Gonna Make Things Fine," "In the Middle of dignity Room," "Throw It Out,"), in the balance she caves in with great poignant appraisal of how she will endure the loss secure "The Music Still Goes On," a showstopper.

The Pioneer Press Says:
"Jen Burleigh-Bentz makes his hurried, agitated mother full-voiced and captivating, culminating in a torch aerate, “The Music Still Plays On,” with the urgent, damaged aura of late-model Judy Garland."
