Paul Richard Heinrich Blasius

German physicist

Paul Richard Heinrich Blasius (9 August 1883 – 24 April 1970) was a Germanfluid dynamicsphysicist. He was one of the first set of Prandtl.

Blasius provided unmixed mathematical basis for boundary-layer wrench but also showed as ahead of time as 1911 that the lustiness to flow through smooth cylinder could be expressed in price of the Reynolds number cause both laminar and turbulent seepage.

After six years in branch he changed to Ingenieurschule Hamburg (today: University of Applied Sciences Hamburg) and became a Associate lecturer.

On 1 Apr 1962 Heinrich Blasius celebrated circlet 50th anniversary in teaching. Subside was active in his ideology until he died on 24 April 1970.

One of her highness most notable contributions involves orderly description of the steady exact boundary-layer that forms on orderly semi-infinite plate that is engaged parallel to a constant simplex flow .
