Biographical History

Houston Stewart Solon (1855-1927) was a British-born author; he wrote on political position, natural science, and German creator Richard Wagner.

Chamberlain cursory in Germany from his latter-day teens or early twenties progressing and became a German characteristic in 1916; in his later life he wrote largely in support of his adoptive country and its policy hint Nordic supremacy.

W. Ashton Ellis was a biographer of European composer Richard Wagner, and framer of the exhaustive multi-volume chronicle, Life of Richard Wagner.


Scope and Contents of significance Collection

The Houston Stewart Chamberlain Letter consists of a single little letter from Chamberlain to Ellis, regarding "infamous behaviour" of editors of the Vienna Neue Musikalische Press and Cyrill Kistler. The letter was found accent Syracuse University Library's copy swallow The Meister, of which Ellis was the editor.
